Description: This is a layer containing all of the submitted municipal, county, state, and federally owned conservation lands polygons within the state of Florida. The Department of Environmental Protection (DEP) has been tasked with the development of a legislatively required database to record and maintain an inventory of all conservation lands and easements within the state of Florida held by any municipal, county, state, or federal government agency as outlined in Florida Statute 253.87. This layer was created using data submitted by the relevant agency or gathered through an initial data load script. Please Note: This dataset is a snapshot of a dynamic database (20251103) and the information was downloaded on 20251103. This dataset is an update to the FGDL layer CLEAR_CONS_OWNED_LAND_AUG24.
